Domaine Guigal was founded in 1946 by Etienne Guigal in Ampuis, a small ancient village and cradle of the Côte-Rôtie appellation. It is home to a unique vineyard where vines and wine have been celebrated for 2400 years. Since the summer of 2003, Maison Guigal, determined to always improve its knowledge of wine and its immediate environment, has embarked on a brand new adventure: cooperage. This artisanal and ancestral work ensures an additional technical mastery in the charm of the historic setting of the Château d'Ampuis.

Tasting Notes
Visual: Ruby red color with dark reflections.
Olfactory: Small red fruits, sour cherry, blackberry..., Powerful and elegant aromatic intensity.
Taste: Fairly supple entry into the mouth and beautiful harmony between the suppleness, the concentration of the wine and the finesse of the chosen tannins. Strong expression of the terroir.
Together: While possessing the virility of the Brown Coast, La Turque has the subtlety and feminine accents of a blonde.
